Aluminum Extruded Heat Sink
The types of aluminum profiles for heat sinks include: extruded heatsink, fin heatsink, skiving eatsink,water-cooled he
Extruded heat sinks are one of the most mainstream and cost-effective cooling solutions. Featuring a finned structure integrally formed via aluminum extrusion, they are ideal for high-volume, cost-sensitive medium and low-power applications.
Core Process (Aluminum Extrusion)
1)Material: 6063/6061 aluminum alloy (thermal conductivity 160–180 W/(m·K), good extrudability and strength).
2)Process: Aluminum billets are heated to 480–530°C, then extruded through a custom die into one-piece profiles with base and fins.
The profiles are cooled, straightened, cut to length, and finished with CNC machining, tapping, or anodizing.
3)Structure: Integral one-piece design eliminates base-fin thermal resistance and ensures high thermal efficiency.
Typical Applications
1)Consumer Electronics: CPU/GPU coolers, routers, set-top boxes
2)Lighting: LED street lights, panel lights, industrial lamps
3)Industrial & Power: Frequency converters, switching power supplies, industrial PCs, PV inverters
4)Automotive: Headlights, vehicle controllers, battery management systems (BMS)
